What did you make of this headline? See any connection?
Ok. Let me spill the beans.
The headline actually is a metaphor to explain a powerful concept.
Let me ask you this question.
Why do babies cry as soon as they come into this world?
Have you ever wondered?
Why did you cry?
We all have as soon as we come out in this world.
Any guesses.
We were in our mother’s womb, and we were very comfortable with that environment. All of a sudden, we are sent into this world. This uncertain place. Everything looks different.
We start crying immediately. But then slowly and steadily as time passes, we stop crying. We get used to this world. In fact, we get curious and start liking (or loving) this world.
Doesn’t this happen to us (as adults) when we are thrown into a different world? A world that is so different from what we are comfortable with.
While we might not cry like babies, aren’t we exposed to the same emotions that babies experience?
Babies adapt very well to change. They embrace the new environment and make it their new reality.
What about us? What about you?
It’s time you learn from your “baby you”. I don’t know how this line sounds but I am sure you get what I am trying to say.
