I recently came across a quote that I read a few times. It was so good that I decided to dedicate a Nano to this one.
Arthur Schopenhauer – “The wise in all ages have always said the same thing, and the fools, who at all times form the immense majority, have in their way, too, acted alike, and done just the opposite.”
I can’t tell you how applicable this is to our industry/profession. I have so many examples to share but I guess a few words are not enough. I guess I will end up doing an interesting new book.
Here is a bonus quote, not a random one, but a perfect complement to Arthur’s above quote:
Bertrand Russell – “The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people are so full of doubts.”
