Several years ago, I read a joke based on human behavior. The wisdom in it is something I have seen at play throughout my life. I bet you would have too. The best part is this is common in our industry/profession.
“I know this works in practice but does this work in theory.”
Reread it again…Meditate on the line…
Many people still act this line in real life.
What do I mean by this?
Even after you show them how a certain thing works in practice (or practical terms), they still are unable to make a decision…There is an invisible question in their heads, “Sure this works in practice, but does this work in theory too?”
Is this a question in your head too?
Do you need something to work in theory even if it works in practice?
